Message From CEO

Please let me take this opportunity to thank our shareholders and investors for their continued generous support. I became Chairman, President & CEO on April 1. Here at Shiseido, we are taking steps to strengthen our operating foundations to become a global player representing Asia with its origins in Japan.

We position this year as a starting point for moving back onto a growth trajectory, overcoming fundamental business challenges hampering growth and as a year for paving the way to steady growth over the period of the next three-year plan. To that end, we will be united in establishing a strong earnings foundation. We will carefully refine our focus and enhance our strengths, while moving ahead steadily with the cost and business structure reforms that we have already begun.

As we pursue these initiatives, I hope that we can rely on the continued support of all of our shareholders and investors.
